Construction of the BNSF Fall River Division began in 2006. Below are images and captions describing the process, techniques and methods. Images are listed in order from most recent, to early 2006.
In the past few years, two areas have been added to the Fall River Division, which were an "afterthought" of the original construction. The Great Plains Industrial Park and the Crater Branch Line were added below the existing deck. Originally, these areas were simply benchwork, fascia and skirting supporting the upper level. Both areas are now "shelf layout" styles and are fed from other parts of the layout. Both additions offer a great deal of switching opportunities.
